Our coach left Whimple at 9.30, bound for Rosemoor. When we arrived it was extremely busy, obviously proving to be a very popular event, this being their first ever Flower Show.
The gardens, in particular the ‘hot garden’ were spectacular. There were a large number of specialist nurseries around the area by the lake, selling a large range of their plants at mostly reasonable prices. Lady Anne;s Garden offered a contrast to those areas and there were plenty of areas to sit and relax.
A slight disappointment was the fact that there was no floral marquee as in other shows. However maybe that will be included in future years if it becomes an annual event.
A good day was had by all and weather was perfect for walking a round the gardens.
